Dr. Tasi Taloh (b. 01 February 1966), besides being an efficient administrator, is a proven scholar with outstanding academic achievements in the arena of education in Arunachal Pradesh. A graduate from J.N. College, Pasighat in 1987, Dr. Taloh did his B.Ed from RGU, the then Arunachal University in 1997 and the Masters in Education in the year 1999. He cleared the highly cherished NET in the same year 1999. His academic odyssey began with his entry into the Department of School Education of Arunachal Pradesh as an Asstt. Teacher in 1987 where he continued serving the same with all dedication and sincerity till 1989. Later on, he was promoted to the post of Junior Teacher in 1989 and served in different parts of East Siang till October 2000 proving his mettle as a sharp educationist with indomitable flair for academic administration. The year 2000 saw Dr. Taloh make an entry into the realm of Higher Education being selected as a lecturer in Education by APPSC and posted to J.N. College, Pasighat. His stint at J.N. College as a teaching faculty from 2000 to 2014 was also very happening in terms of the growth of the department and the college as well. The award of Ph.D degree was conferred on him in the year 2008 by RGU. Dr. Taloh has 10 (ten) books to his credit besides 19 (nineteen) articles in reputed National and International Journals.
Before coming to J.N. College as Principal, Dr. Taloh served IGGC, Tezu (Lohit District) in the capacity of the Principal from 31st December 2014 to November 2018. He was also the recipient of a Commendation Certificate from Lohit District Administration in 2017 for his outstanding contribution in the making and shaping of that college to newer heights. He also served W.R.G. College, Deomali (Tirap District) from November 2018 to December 2021 and the imprint of his administrative virtuosity is heavily stamped there.
