ADMISSION

• Read the college e-prospectus (Download) Properly Before Applying.


• Use update browsers, preferably Chrome.


• Click the link to LOGIN/REGISTER (User can login only after registration).


• Register yourself by entering a valid e-mail ID and User Name. A link will be sent to the e-mail ID to create password. In case of invalid e-mail ID, he/she will not be able to register. (User name is not your e-mail address).


• Login with user name and password.


• On the profile page select the stream for which admission is desired.


• Fill all the required fields as instructed in the admission form.


• Students should have Aadhaar Card and APAAR ID created in Digilocker at the time of filling of the Admission Form.


• To create APAAR ID follow these steps:

• Students have bring a hard copy APAAR ID during physical verification of documents.


• Once registered, student can login with the same user name and password created.


• Students should check all the entries carefully before submitting the application form.


• A proof of successful submission of form will be displayed on the profile page, which can be downloaded and printed for confirmation.


• The names of the selected applicants will be notified in the website.


• Selected applicants will have to produce all documents along with the Confirmation page for verification during admission at College.



STUDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO READ THE PROSPECTUS CAREFULLY AND FILL OUT THE FORM CORRECTLY. ANY MISTAKE IN THE ADMISSION FORM MAY RESULT IN YOUR NAME BEING LEFT OUT OF THE MERIT LIST.





• After verification of the required documents, ADMISSION FEE has be paid offline at the admission counter.

1. Class-X pass certificate - (Max. file size 500 KB)


2. Marksheet of Class-XII or Marksheet of Diploma along with Certificate - (Max. file size 500 KB)


3. Coloured Passport Size Photograph - (Max. file size 100 KB)


4. Signature of student - (Max. file size 100 KB)


5. Migration Certificate Original (for students from Boards other than CBSE, New Delhi) Original to be submitted to the College, if admitted - (Max. file size 500 KB)


6. Transfer Certificate from the Head of the institution last attended - (Max. file size 500 KB)


7. APST Certificate (if applicable) - (Max. file size 500 KB)


8. Aadhar Card - (Max. file size 500 KB)


9. Blood group certificate from competent authority - (Max. file size 500 KB)


10. Gap Certificate (if applicable) - (Max. file size 500 KB)

• After the end date of form submission, merit list will be displayed on College Website https://www.jncpasighat.edu.in.


• If, student fails to take admission within the specified dates, he/she will forfeit the claim for his/her admission.


• For Catchment area norms refer to the Prospectus.


• STUDENTS FROM NATIONAL OPEN SCHOOL (NIOS) ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE.




• For online admission form submission for UG III and V Semesters please keep self-attested scanned copies of following documents ready for uploading:

• Only bonafide students of Jawaharlal Nehru College can take admission in UG IIIrd and Vth semesters.


• Subjects should be very meticulously selected by the applicants of I Semester. Change in Subject is not allowed after admission.


• Admission to any course/stream in the college is provisional, subject to the final approval of the Rajiv Gandhi University.


• The application procedure is fully online. No sale of application at the college.


• Students must provide valid mobile/Whatsapp number and e-mail id and it should not be changed during the academic session.


• Do not wait for the last day to complete the admission formalities as there may be an enormous hurry on that day.
